<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Facilities</h3>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Melia Durres is equipped with a comprehensive range of facilities designed to ensure comfort, accessibility, and functionality for visitors. These include sun loungers and umbrellas available for use, as well as sanitary facilities such as toilets and showers. From the main parking area to the Blue Flag-certified beach zone, visitors have access to a variety of commercial services, including retail outlets, bars, restaurants, a pharmacy, bank ATMs, and a beach bar. Within the Blue Flag beach area, a dedicated beach bar covers an area of 5,267 m² and is complemented by approximately 350 umbrellas and 700 sunbeds.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Green areas are integrated throughout the beach landscape, with trees planted across the premises and along the seaside promenade to enhance the natural environment. During the summer season, trained lifeguards are present to ensure visitor safety. Accessibility for persons with reduced mobility is ensured through designated parking spaces, beach and water access ramps, and adapted sanitary facilities. Construction within the beach area is strictly limited, with only 7.45% of the total surface allocated for built structures, while the remaining area is reserved for public spaces and pedestrian pathways. Any permitted construction is restricted to a single above-ground level, with a maximum height of 7 meters..</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Melia Durres has a comprehensive environmental management plan in place, which includes measures to reduce waste and promote recycling, conserve energy, and prevent pollution. The beach has a team who work to keep the beach clean and inform visitors about sustainable practices by developing various activities.</p>

<p>Green Coast Beach offers a range of facilities for visitors, including sun loungers and umbrellas for hire, toilets and showers. From the parking area up until the Blue Flag designated beach, there are facilities for commercial use, such as fast food shops, supermarket, restaurants, pharmacies, bank atms and several beach bars.</p>
<p>There are also lifeguards on duty during the summer months to ensure the safety of visitors. Services are accessible to disabled people, such as designated parking spots, ramps to the beach and water and toilets. Only 7.45% of the beach area is projected for construction, the rest is projected for public spaces and pave-way. It is allowed to only build one store above ground for all facilities in the beach, maximum height of 7m.</p>
